Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the notification for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. Candidates who want to appear in the UPTET exam can submit the online application form from 27 March 2026 to 26 April 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held on 02, 03, and 04 July 2026.

UPTET 2026 Eligibility
Paper I (Primary Level, Class 1 to 5):
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution along with a valid teacher
training qualification such as BTC, B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final-year candidates may also
be eligible as per rules.
Paper II (Upper Primary Level, Class 6 to 8):
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks along with B.Ed,
BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent teacher training qualification from a recognized institution. Final-year
candidates may also apply as per rules.
